Care Instructions
To clean your Original Luxe Kids, first remove loose dirt with a soft shoe brush. Then go in with the cleaned brush, some lukewarm water and a mild cleaning solution. Wipe excess product with a moist cloth. Air dry at room temperature after cleaning or when the shoes get wet.
Note: We don’t recommend using the shoes for activities that cause high friction on the shoe (e.g. riding a balance bike or toy car) without additional protection to prevent damaging the shoes.

My 2 year old boy enherited my extra wide feet and it is very hard to find him shoes. Since I own a few pair of Feelgrounds, I decided to give it a try with kids shoes, the Original Luxe Kaboom.
They have the greatest width I found so far, wider than Tikki Harlequin, which he wears alternatively with Feelgrounds, and wider compared to size tables of other barefoot brands, which I didn’t risk buying 😊
I like them also because they appear to be lighter then other BF brands, they are of good quality and respect all conditions for barefoot shoes.
Downsides are: the less breathable material, my son swets in them a lot, even with very thin wool socks, which absorb a lot of moisture, but then he also swets in leather shoes, a little less though; the short straps and velcros, the less flexible material of the straps, my son has chubby feet, like all toddlers his age, which didn’t loose their feet fat yet, and the straps are at the limit.
I am not sure how the Kaboom print should be, I put them in a dark room and you can’t see them, but I noticed that sometimes it reflects strong light, so probably the kid will be noticed by cars at night.
My sons feet measure 14 x 6,5 cm, with the pencil method, and size 24 fits him well.
Probably his next pair of shoes will be the Feelgrounds mesh, which are more breathable, and hopefully until autumn the straps will ve redesigned, because I read a lot of reviews here which mention the shortness.
I would love to buy him a Feelgrounds sandal model when it will be available 😜

We're also glad that you appreciate the quality and barefoot design of our shoes.
Regarding the breathability, you're absolutely right that our Luxe models, made from soft faux leather, are not as breathable as e.g. our Original Mesh Kids models. Many customers prefer our Mesh models, especially on warm and dry days, while our Luxe models offer better protection against wind and light rainfall on spring and autumn days.
We appreciate your feedback about the length of the velcro straps. While they typically fit most children well in terms of length, we understand that they may sometimes be a tad too short or occasionally even slightly too long. At this time, we don't have immediate plans to adjust their length. Nevertheless, I will certainly forward your feedback to our product team for their consideration.
Regarding the Kaboom print, it's indeed a reflective print designed to enhance safety by increasing visibility in low-light conditions.

Advantages: these trainers are light, wide, easy to put on and off. Size runs a little big. Easy to clean.
Disadvantages: not breathable Material, feet sweat a lot.

My daughter has high volume feet and we've tried several different "barefoot shoes" that were always too tight in her midfoot. These are great and she loves them
