Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your experience with our Seaside sandals. We appreciate your thoughtful review and are glad to hear that you find them aesthetically pleasing and that they provide a comfortable and free feeling for your feet.

We also understand your need for more padding when walking on hard pavements during your holiday. It is important to note that barefoot shoes typically have thin and flexible outsoles to allow for natural foot movement and sensory feedback from the ground. However, we acknowledge that personal preferences can vary, especially – but not exclusively – for those new to barefoot shoes.

If you're experiencing discomfort because of the sole thickness, we recommend a gradual adjustment period when transitioning to thin sole barefoot shoes. Starting with shorter durations of wear and gradually increasing the wearing time can help your feet and body adapt to the changes. This approach often allows for a more comfortable experience over
time.

While we do not currently have plans to release a Seaside version with a thicker sole, we appreciate your suggestion and will certainly keep it in mind. We continuously strive to improve our products based on customer feedback and preferences.

Your observations about the length of the back strap, potential for cork discoloration and shipping costs are also noted with thanks. A tool that helped plenty of customers in the past to prevent returns for their Feelgrounds because of sizing issues, is actually our printable Size Guide PDFs, available at feelgrounds.com/sizing. For our sandal models Seaside and Pathway, they show the exact shape of the sole incl. the strap placements for each size. This way you can check beforehand which size is the best fit for your feet. If you have any questions about e.g. strap lengths in certain sizes, that aren't available online, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us. We're happy to provide you with the measurements you need.

Normalerweise sollten die Maße in unserer Größentabelle mit den tatsächlichen Maßen unserer Sandalen übereinstimmen. Es ist allerdings möglich, dass je nach Messmethode leichte Unterschiede auftreten können. Wir empfehlen daher die Sandalen genauso zu vermessen, wie wir auch das Vermessen der Füße empfehlen. Eine genaue Anleitung findest du unter 'Möglichkeit 1' auf feelgrounds.de/sizing.
