If you are a barefoot shoe beginner, consider inserting one of our insoles (available separately in our online store).
To clean your Highrise Luxe remove all loose dirt with a soft shoe brush. If necessary, go in with a clean, soft brush to apply some lukewarm water and a mild cleaning solution. Wipe any excess product with a moist cloth. Air dry at room temperature after cleaning or when the shoes got wet.
The Highrise Luxe is not machine washable.
Note: The shoes are not suitable for activities that cause a lot of friction on the sole, as this can damage the soft sole.
I like the benefit of barefoot shoes but hate the look of most of them. The high rise in Metallic Rose are different, they are comfy and wide but look very stylish and somehow not like your typical barefoot shoe. So far the vegan leather has held up well, no scratches and I wear them daily. A zipper on the side would have been nice for easier on and off!
Very beautiful and comfortable shoes. I have been using them for a month and gotten used to. Some things would like to mention, it would be really useful to have a zipper or elastic bands (which you can purchase for extra). Also somehow the straps went from white to gray really fast! It has not happened to my white sneakers that I’ve had before.

Regarding your suggestion about having a zipper or elastic laces, we appreciate your input. We understand that such features can provide additional convenience, and have therefore added elastic laces, called “Safe & Go” to our “accessories” section. They are a suitable add-on to our Highrise models and allow you to easily slip in and out of your shoes with minimal effort.

The boots are very stiff in the back and they hurt my aquiles tendon.
Also, my feel are kind of narrow and even with the additional soles the shoes feel too wide.
I am keeping them to give them a chance, may be with thick socks in winter they may do their job!

We're happy to hear that you would like to give them another chance, even though they are a bit too wide for you. Everyone's feet are unique, and some may require a narrower fit. If you are not 100% satisfied, you can return your item(s) to our warehouse in Germany for a refund within 30 days of receiving your order. The items have to be unworn/unused to be eligible for a return.

You can download a return label in our returns portal for a discounted fee, which will be deducted from your refund. The use of this label ensures fast and easy processing of your return, and you can benefit from our favorable shipping rates: Australia ($30.00 AUD), Canada ($20.00 CAD), New Zealand ($30.00 NZD), Norway (100 NOK), Switzerland (10 CHF), United Kingdom (£10.00 GBP), all other countries (€20 EUR converted into local currency).
If you decide to return all ordered products, we will refund the outbound shipping costs along with the value of the returned product(s). If you go for a partial return, the outbound shipping costs will not be refunded.
Duties and taxes, which are added during checkout, are collected by your local customs authority and are therefore not refundable from our side. As only the recipient of an order can claim these fees back, please contact your local customs office directly with copies of the returns paperwork.
Any returned item not in its original condition or packaging, damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error may be applicable only for a partial refund.
